Injection Moulding
A SPECIALTY OF ORNAMIN
he 2-component injection molding and the mono-sandwich procedure are one of ORNAMINs specialties. We manufacture in our injection molding plant mainly technical plastic parts, display systems and crockery items – clean, precise and with perfect surfaces.
We process standard thermoplasts, engineering plastics and thermoplastical elastomers.
The injection molding machines are equipped with a clamping force of 8.000 KN, where thermoplastic parts up to a shot weight of 3,500 g are manufactured.
Thermosetting Plastics
THE MILESTONE IN PROCESSING
With the processing of decorative foils on melamine press parts ORNAMIN set a milestone in 1955. Requirements such as sophisticated surfaces, embers strength, scratch resistance and break stability as well as accreditation of drinking water and food are guaranteed during the processing of suitable types of melamine. Melamine products also withstand the hygiene requirements of medicine, dental and laboratory technology.
After the tablet compression and the high-frequency preheating, thermosets are processed on oil-hydraulic presses with a pressure power up to 4,000 KN, producing press parts with a piece weight up to 1,500 g.
A specialty of ORNAMIN is the 2-component processing of thermosetting plastics.
Profile Extrusion
THE NEW PRODUCTION METHOD
The extrusion is a good complement to the existing plastics production methods. During the process profiles made of themoplastic materials are manufactured. As an additional service ORNAMIN also offers a 2-component extrusion.

Under the name screen printing ORNAMIN integrates modern screenprint and padprint machines. These transform innovative and functional basic commodities into individual brands.
